How To Use Coupons

A few months ago I began learning how to use coupons to help me save money. I always thought they were a waste of time and money just to save a few pennies. But let me tell you I was so very wrong. I want to help you by giving you these tips.

1)Buy the Sunday paper that has coupons inserts. Also look at the newsstand for free publications because sometimes they have a coupon insert in them as well.
2)Clip the coupons and organize them into a folder that works best for you. It's also a good idea to save the ads in which you will be using coupons for.
3)Check with your stores to see which ones take competitor coupons. Here in Georgia Publix takes them.
4)Combine a store coupon with a manufacture coupon for extra savings.
5)Always be on the look out at your stores for free booklets with coupons in them. CVS has the Beauty and Diabetes booklets. Publix has several different ones at the entrance and a quarterly booklets throughout the store, right now it's a blue booklet called Winter Family Savings.
6)Always take coupons in the stores from tear pads, booklets and the black boxes that blink even if you don't think you would use them, you might be surprised.
